Martin Andrews

Co-opted to fill the vacancy resulting from the uncontested election. Whitegrove Ward Having lived in Bracknell for nearly 30 years, of which the last 11 years have been in Warfield, I thought I would try to contribute after having experienced so much. I have in that time lived abroad for over 6 years in 3 different countries, so maybe I can bring some European ideas to the table.

I welcome the opportunity to proactively contribute to our local community. I am particluarly interested in local environmental issues, Northern Parishes Arts Festival, roads and general safety, especially for children living in the area. Currently a full-time mother, my career to date has been in marketing and PR, with a recently acquired MBA gained by studying part-time with the University of Reading Business School.

Paul has lived or worked in Warfield for 40 years and has seen the changes for better or worse that have taken place in and around the Parish. Having been persuaded that he should become a Parish Councillor by the then Clerk of the Council (a certain Eddie Taylor) he is now become the longest serving member of the council. And the enthusiasm is still there.

Martyn
Whitegrove Ward I have lived in Warfield for nearly 11 years and worked for the Met Office for 23 years before taking early retirement in 1994. In recent years I have become involved in various voluntary activities, the latest being The Warfield Environment Group formed in 2002. I now feel that with my knowledge of the local area plus the combination of my scientific background with my interest in the preservation and enhancement of the natural environment I am able to make a valid contribution to life in Warfield as a Parish Councillor.
